Opening Day 2017
Closing Day 2017
appreciate your interest in our camp and hope you grow to love it as
much as we do. We look forward to meeting you and your children and
welcoming you to the Camp Lavi family.
Established in 1977, Camp Lavi is a Modern Orthodox, co-ed camp which caters to the needs and well being of each and every camper and
their family. Our Owner & Director Joey Hoenig, along with our experienced
and dedicated staff, build a warm sense of family and takes pride in
getting to know each camper personally. Camp Lavi is an open and caring
community where meaningful friendships are made, and life-long memories
are created within a Torah environment. Our campers feel comfortable
and at home and we encourage them to explore and challenge themselves
every day, enabling them to grow and reach their full potential. Here at
Camp Lavi we value individuality and teach our campers that a person's
character and morals are what's most important in life. Our Chinuch
Program provides our campers with daily opportunities to enhance their spirituality and Torah studies in a relaxed setting. We are
lucky to have a strong Israeli Mishlachat which enhances Lavi's deep
connection with Eretz Yisrael.
are continually improving the camping experience by upgrading our
facilities and programs each season. It is important that our campers
return to their summer home each year excited and at ease to be at their
favorite place on Upper Woods Road.
Camp Lavi is a safe, friendly and cherished place for extraordinary summers that your child will never forget. We would love to hear from you and your family and learn more about your interest in our camp. For prospective families in the Tri-state area, we would be happy to schedule a home visit. Please contact us at any time.
As the father of 3 Lavi campers and a Lavi alum I have very warm feelings towards the camp, and am extremely impressed with yesterday’s Visiting Day. I know my children are having a fantastic time, and that you (Joey) and your incredible staff are doing everything to ensure a fun-filled summer. I was particularly impressed that all of the staff was wearing “Lavi Staff” shirts, it is a small thing but it lends such a great degree of professionalism. The campgrounds look clean, and maintained; the counselors were all so warm and well spoken. They were all at the bunks and could not have been more helpful to me and my children- their warmth was so genuine. I am confident that your enthusiasm for the dedication to, the success of Camp Lavi will transform and maintain it to the preeminent modern orthodox camp for many years to come. My wife and I left yesterday with such warm feelings, knowing that our three kids are having such a great time, and we are so thrilled to be a part of The Lavi Family.
